Tree Planting Day 2011
Saturday 12th March 2011 saw upwards of a hundred and eighty family and friends gather at Deerton Natural Burial Ground, Teynham for Tree Planting Day. In the morning it was bright though a little chilly but towards the end of the day the grey sky was back. Click here and here to see the photos.

New Noticeboard at Deerton
Thanks to a new noticeboard at Deerton we are now able to communicate with you in many ways.
Tree Planting Day 2010
This day saw families with loved ones buried in designated woodland areas since February 2009 planting trees in their memory. Others planted woodland bulbs and plants.

Oak Benches for Deerton Natural Burial Ground
Six natural oak benches are now installed at Deerton Natural Burial Ground. They were hand crafted by a local carpenter and paid for by donations from clients.
Visitors now have seats on which to wait for friends and family prior to a burial or rest on whilst thinking about a loved one.

Tree Planting Day 2009
A warm end of February day, often with bright sunshine, enabled the many relatives and friends of those now residing at Deerton to plant memorial trees and spring flowers on their graves. There were babes in arms and ninety year olds - plus dogs. There were some tears but also many smiles. Conversations and exchanges of memories and opinions enabled everyone to appreciate this special day.
